Chennai, NFAPost: With an aim to boost the startup ecosystem, STPI (Software Technology Parks of India), in association with ELCOT (Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited), has announced the launch of Start-up Pitch Fest for identifying eligible and innovative start-ups for FinBlue program, the Centre of Excellence, a first-of-its-kind incubation facility.
The programme aims to further strengthening India as the leader in FinTech industry by providing accessibility to technology, mentorship and more. Besides mentoring and technology support, the centre will also help start-ups gain access to a robust Fin-Tech ecosystem that consists of bankers, financial institutions, mentors, investors and a platform supporting GoToMarket strategy.
OmkarRai, Director General – STPI & Chairman of Governing council of FinBlue, said, “We are very happy and delighted to launch a dedicated Centre of Excellence for FinTech named as ‘FinBlue’ in Tamil Nadu. This is a part of STPI’s nationwide initiative to transform India into Software Product Nation capitalising on the strong IT Services Industries by providing an ecosystem in all the emerging technologies. FinTech being one of such emerging technologies in banking and financial services domain has been chosen as one of the priority domain for setting up a CoE at STPI Chennai.”
